SOFTQUEST EMG-SB

Special formulation specific for acid demineralization at very low pH. It allows to improve the cleaning and the whiteness of the treated articles.

SOFTQUEST EMG-SB has an excellent sequestering power toward alkaline earth salts and heavy metals. The product is recommended both for acid demineralization and as a sequestering agent for dyeing processes in acid medium.

The product is very effective even in alkaline processes and can therefore be used in single-stage treatments in two phases.

Like all chelators, SOFTQUEST EMG-SB can also sequester metal ions from metal complex dyes. If the product is used in dye baths, it is advisable to carry out preliminary tests to check the stability of the dyes.

SOFTQUEST EMG-SB is not volatile and therefore has no irritating effects on the respiratory tract; unlike hydrochloric acid, it does not have a corrosive action against the steels of machinery or pipelines.

No formation of insoluble sulphates and / or calcium oxalates, as in the case of sulfuric acid or oxalic acid.

It is not recommended to use it in the last rinsing bath since, as it is not volatile, the product could concentrate during drying causing damage to the fiber.
