SOFTRED PY-20

Specific product to avoid yellowing and oxidation of polyamide fibers in high temperature heat treatments, such as heat setting, preforming or molding.

SOFTRED PY-20 is an auxiliary particularly suitable for preventing yellowing of polyamide caused by high temperatures.

SOFTRED PY-20 prevents or reduces the yellowing of polyamide and polyamide/elastane blends during high temperature treatments (for example heat setting, preforming, moling).

SOFTRED PY-20 prevents oxidation of the terminal amino groups of polyamide during the heat setting treatment; thanks to this preventive action, better color yields and better reproducibility can be obtained.

The containment of yellowing allows the production of pale shades and allows to obtain the maximum degree of white optically brightened items.

SOFTRED PY-20 also prevents the yellowing of impurities present on the articles (for example spinning oils).

It considerably improves the reproducibility of the dyeing process and optimizes the color yield.

It is particularly suitable for direct heating stenter, where the formation of nitrous oxides NOx is a problem.

It can be used on items that must comply with Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 standards.

Ecological and safe: free from ethoxylated alkylphenols and solvent free.
