SOFTRED IF-PA

Specific product to avoid thermal yellowing during heat setting, preforming or molding of articles containing polyamide.

SOFTRED IF-PA is a highly effective auxiliary designed to prevent or substantially reduce the tendency to yellowing of polyamide and polyamide/elastane articles when subjected to heat treatments at high temperatures.

It is effective in heat setting, an essential phase to obtain good dimensional stability and avoid curling of the edges, and in preforming or molding, a phase that uses contact temperatures between 190 and 200°C.

The containment of yellowing allows the production of pale shades and allows to obtain the maximum degree of white after bleaching with optical brighteners.

The emulsifying and dispersing power of SOFTRED IF-PA facilitates the removal of silicone oils and other lubricants during subsequent washes.

The product can be used for impregnation or for exhaustion.

SOFTRED IF-PA is easily biodegradable and free from APEO.
