SOFTQUEST IRC

Very stable and effective sequestering agent even in the presence of high concentrations of sodium hypochlorite.

SOFTQUEST IRC is a sequestering agent with high performance and effective even in a strongly alkaline environment. Due to its excellent stability it is particularly recommended in bleaching treatments with high concentrations of sodium hypochlorite.

The product is not surfactant and therefore does not develop foam.

It can be used in any continuous, exhaustion process on washer-extractors or continuous washers.

SOFTQUEST IRC is indicated in textile treatments where the presence of calcium and magnesium ions or insoluble impurities can affect the results of the process; the sequestering power for calcium and magnesium ions is decidedly higher than that of classic EDTA.

The strong dispersing power makes it highly performing in the removal of oils and dirty greases, especially in combination with the detergents of the SOFTCLEANER range; the system is particularly suitable for the treatment of tablecloths and workwear for the metallurgical, automotive and food industries.

The product can be used in desizing, scouring and bleaching operations; it helps in the elimination of sizes, waxes, pectins and impurities in general and amplifies the action of the surfactants.
