SOFTQUEST EMG new

Special formulation specific for acid demineralization. It allows to improve the cleaning and the whiteness of the treated articles.

SOFTQUEST EMG new has an excellent sequestering power towards alkaline earth ions and heavy metals and an effective pH buffering effect.

The product is suggested both for acid demineralization and as a sequestering agent for acid bath dyes; it is also very effective in an alkaline environment and can therefore be used in single-bath treatments in two phases.

Like all chelators, SOFTQUEST EMG new can also subtract metal ions from metal complex dyes. If the product is used in dyeing baths, it is advisable to carry out preliminary tests to check the stability of the dyes.

Unlike formic, acetic and hydrochloric acids, SOFTQUEST EMG new is not volatile and therefore has no irritating effects on the respiratory tract; it does not even have a corrosive action towards the steel of the machinery or pipes.

No formation of insoluble calcium sulphates and / or oxalates, as in the case of sulfuric acid or oxalic acid.

It is not recommended to use it in the last rinsing bath as, not being volatile, the product could concentrate during drying, causing damage to the fiber.
