Glyoxalic resin with extremely low formaldehyde content for easy-care finishes.

SOFTNET BSF is a resin suitable for finishing treatments with a very low content of free formaldehyde for anti-crease effects and to improve dimensional stability on articles in cellulose and blends.

The product allows to get good crease-resistant properties with a high anti-crease effect, both dry and wet, for excellent “wash & wear” and “easy-care” effects.

It is a reactive crosslinker that can be used to improve the fastness to washing of water-repellent finishes with products from the SOFTGARD series, on cotton, viscose and blends.

The product has a free formaldehyde content of less than 0.1%: on cotton, under optimal processing conditions, allows to contain the free formaldehyde level of less than 75 ppm.

It can be used on bleached articles as it does not react with the chlorine developed by hypochlorite bleaches and therefore does not give rise to yellowing phenomena with losses of mechanical strength of the fiber during the ironing phase.

It gives the fabric a pleasantly smooth appearance.

It does not cause significant changes in tone and does not influence the light fastness of the dyes.
