IMBIWET SD

Excellent wetting agent with high deaerating action: highly effective, especially on raw materials. Good stability in a strongly alkaline pH; suitable in pretreatment, dyeing, finishing and coating processes.

IMBIWET SD is a wetting agent with deaerating properties that can be used in all continuous or discontinuous pretreatment and dyeing processes (except with vat dyes); the product is also suitable for finishing treatments by impregnation or coating, to improve the adhesion of pastes on waterproofed articles. It is not suitable for foam coatings.

Used in pre-treatment cycles, it is stable and effective throughout the whole pH range, in the presence of oxidants or reducing agents and is compatible with enzymes; it can be used in all scouring and bleaching processes in the pad-batch and pad-steam processes of cellulosic and blends, as well as in all the desizing and scouring processes of synthetic fiber.

It has an excellent wetting power which makes it effective in the treatment of very heavy and slightly hydrophilic articles; it allows to wet completely and quickly even raw cotton fabrics.

IMBIWET SD has a high deaerating power that allows to contain the development of foam in all processes and to facilitate the elimination of air inside the fibers: in this way the penetration of the treatment baths is favored, a particularly useful condition in exhaustion treatments.

IMBIWET SD is particularly effective in impregnation finishing treatments and can be used in combination with most finishing products, including fluorocarbon resins or Fluoro Free waterproofing (SOFTGARD).

In coating recipes, it favors the introduction of fillers into formulations, acts as an antifoam and allows the paste to better wet the articles, especially if pre-waterproofed.

The product cannot be used in contact with PVC components.
