Mattress Item Treatments
Soft Chemicals offers a series of Flame Retardant products ( SOFLAM ) essential for this type of item. These products have been specially formulated to meet the various regulations regarding the flame retardant treatment of fabrics. In addition to the flame retardant characteristics, the mattress cover fabric can be finished with antibacterial products . These finishing treatments can also be performed on the mattress padding foam itself.
Treatments for bathroom items
The classic towel or the comfortable bathrobe must be characterized by a soft/puffed hand with permanent hydrophilic properties : the softening products of the SOFTHYDRO series fully satisfy these requests. These textile auxiliaries are able to resist repeated domestic washing and, through the use of special resins ( SOFTFIN ), it is possible to maintain the original appearance of the textile articles unchanged over time, reducing the effects of wear due to use.
Treatments for tablecloths and kitchen items
The finishing for table linen must be able to effectively protect the substrate from stains through the use of fluorinated and fluorine-free waterproofing products ( SOFTGARD series ) or facilitate their removal during washing ( soil release stain-resistant treatment by SOFTFIN WET ). In addition to these characteristics, the table linen must be resistant to mechanical stress caused by repeated washing: for this reason, the textile resins applied by spreading ( SOFTBIND series ) create a protective polymer film with excellent elasticity and resistance characteristics that increase its durability over time.
Treatments for upholstered textile articles
The fabrics used for the production of upholstered furniture (sofas, armchairs, cushions, etc.) require a series of treatments involving many finishing products. Among the most requested treatments are the waterproofing products for the water-repellent and stain-resistant treatment based on fluorine and fluorine free ( SOFTGARD series ) and the flame retardants ( SOFLAM series ) applicable both by impregnation and by coating (foam or classic). Another important characteristic for this type of furnishing fabric is the resistance to abrasion and the anti-pilling treatment: for this reason, finishing resins are available ( SOFTFIN and SOFTBIND series ) capable of giving a high level of resistance to the fabric. In addition to the treatments mentioned, finally, it is worth mentioning the antibacterial treatment which gives the articles greater hygiene and healthiness.
