SOFTACID WSG is an acid neutralizer suitable in rinsing processes, especially after alkaline treatments, to give the right pH to the articles and avoid yellowing during drying and ironing.
The product can be used in all steps where pH adjustment in acid range is required and is suitable for automatic dosing systems; it can be used on washer extractors and continuous washers.
The action against alkalis is complete and does not give rise to the formation of salts or pH buffers which can influence subsequent treatments.
The product is not volatile and is stable in temperature, both in the batchwise and in drying processes.
SOFTACID WSG complexes the heavy metal ions in treatment baths without any demetallizing action towards the dyes and therefore without influence on shades.
The product can be used to regulate treatment baths in acidic pH in dyeing processes (disperse dyes on PES; acids or metal-complex dyes on WO) or optical brighteners on PA, WO and Silk articles.
In finishing processes it can be used to stabilize both the pH of the treatment baths and the final pH on the fiber; in exhaustion processes SOFTACID WSG helps to increase the substantivity of the products towards the fibers.
