Balanced mixture of sequestering agents and protective colloids with dispersing properties for desizing, scouring, bleaching, dyeing and soaping processes.

SOFTQUEST SE is a sequestering agent suitable for desizing, scouring, bleaching, dyeing and soaping operations (reactive and vat dyes).

It is very efficient in all those treatments where the presence of calcium and magnesium ions or insoluble impurities can affect the success of the process.

The product has a high sequestering power which is maintained above in strong alkaline pH and with the increase in temperature.

In desizing, scouring and bleaching it improves the elimination of sizes, waxes and pectins.

It has no demetallizing effect towards the metals ions bonded to the dyes and is therefore suitable in dyeing processes.

The product is not surfactant and therefore is no foaming.

SOFTQUEST SE does not increase the BIAS and MBAS values in the water treatment plants.
