SOFTDET FOD

Strong wetting agent with cleaning properties.

SOFTDET FOD has a good wetting power, which is maintained even in a strongly alkaline range; facilitates wetting of articles by swelling the glues, sizes and dirties on raw fabrics. Its high emulsifying and dispersing power avoids the formation of agglomerates and precipitates due to the presence of sizing or impurities on the fiber.

It can be used in desizing, scouring, alkaline bleaching or dyeing.

SOFTDET FOD is stable in alkaline environment (resists up to 100 g/l of 100% NaOH) and can therefore be used in reinforcement baths.

It can also be used in dyeing, but it is not recommended with vat dyes as it affects the exhaustion; in continuous dyeing allows to improve absorption by uniforming the distribution of the dyes on the article.

In machineries with strong turbulence (overflow / jet) it tends to develop foam: in this case it is recommended to combine a proper anti-foam products such as DEFOSOFT GS, NS06 or JET.

It is recommended to neutralize the residual baths of the impregnation treatment with BI-OME®. Specifically, it must be added directly to the impregnation tank in a quantity ¼ of the BI-OME® concentration in the recipe; in this way, the highly cationic biocide is deactivated by the detergent and can be conveyed directly to the treatment plant, even if biological.
