SOFTNET MMA ECO-2

Melamine resin with extremely low formaldehyde content.

SOFTNET MMA ECO-2 is a melamine polymer suitable for finishing treatments of cellulosic, synthetic and blends.

The product has a minimum formaldehyde content which allows, if used in the recommended dosages, to get ”formaldehyde free” articles.

It can be used in combination with acrylic and / or polyurethane resins in coating processes to improve crosslinking, bonding, mechanical strength and washing resistance of the applied film.

It can be used on bleached articles as it does not react with the chlorine developed by hypochlorite bleaches and therefore does not give rise to yellowing phenomena with losses of mechanical strength of the fiber during the ironing phase.

SOFTNET MMA ECO-2 is used in “easy-care” finishing treatments or to get particular shine effects in “chintz” treatments.

The product can be used with flourocarbon resins for water and oilrepellent finishes.

It is compatible with most resins and softeners.

It confers high resilience when applied on PES or Acrylic articles.
