SOFTBIND ASM

High solid self-crosslinking acrylic polymer particularly suitable for foam applications.

SOFTBIND ASM is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder with a soft and dry film suitable for the production of fabrics for clothing, home textile articles and technical textiles or as a binder for non-woven fabrics, synthetic leathers and wadding; it is also used as an adhesive with non-slip effect on fabrics.

SOFTBIND ASM is mainly used as a finishing binder, flock or lamination adhesive, or binder for pigment printing.

The product is particularly suitable for foam coating applications as it forms very fine and regular foams.

Thanks to its binding power it is suitable in formulations with fillers such as talc and kaolin.

SOFTBIND ASM has excellent adhesion properties with high tenacity and resistance to repeated wet maintenance; the fastness can be further improved by using specific crosslinking agents (SOFTNET).

The dispersion is compatible with thickeners, wetting agents, anti-fermentation agents, crosslinking agents, pigments and in general with the additives normally used in the textile sector.

Combinations with other polymers are possible after preliminary compatibility check.
