Wetting agent for mercerization processes, free of phenols and cresols.

IMBIWET MC allows to get a rapid and uniform wetting in mercerizing processes of raw cotton yarns, knits and fabrics, even of twisted and heavily-worn articles.

The product is able to ensure a rapid and uniform penetration of the mercerizing bath on any type of article. In this way it is possible to obtain very regular and uniform effects with the possibility of reducing the time spent in the various treatment phases.

IMBIWET MC as marked sequestering power towards heavy metals; it increases safety in subsequent bleaching and dyeing processes.

The product is low foaming; the residual baths can be reused in other processes; the product resists the recovery process by concentrating the caustic soda without losing behaviors.

Depending on the concentration of the baths, more or less turbid solutions are obtained; however, the effectiveness and stability of the product remain unaltered.

IMBIWET MC is free from silicones, phosphorus, phenols and cresols.
