FIXER EL is a fixing agent for reactive, direct and sulphur dyes suitable to improve wet fastness after dyeing or printing processes.The treatment is preferably carried out at pH 4.5 – 5.5 with non-thermolabile pH regulators such as SOFTACID NCM or CIT.The product can influence the shades and light fastness of some dyes.FIXER EL prevents the degradation of the direct dyes in the rinse baths and therefore prevents the formation of stains on the treated material.FIXER EL can be used in combination with most cationic or non-ionic finishing products: anti-crease resins, antislipping agents, fillers, softeners, etc. It is always preferable to carry out compatibility tests to evaluate the stability of the baths and the possible influence of the combined products on the final fastness values.
